Yuna brings conversation, learning and imaginative play together in an app designed around children and the grown-ups who care for them. A curious question can become a little lesson. A favourite toy can become the hero of a story. An everyday walk can become a game of discovery.
Chat & voice
Children can talk to Yuna by text or voice. Messages and replies are screened, parents can review conversations, and big feelings are guided towards a trusted grown-up.
Curriculum-guided learning
Daily lessons and quizzes span seven core subjects: Maths, English, Science, Animals, World, Art and Feelings. Learning paths draw on England’s National Curriculum, Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence and Curriculum for Wales.
US learning paths cover selected state frameworks: California’s Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, New York’s Next Generation English language arts and maths standards and P–12 science standards, Florida’s B.E.S.T. and CPALMS resources, and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Homework Helper uses a photographed problem to coach children through the steps.
Learn words in six languages
Premium Plus includes beginner vocabulary activities in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Mandarin and Japanese. Children practise with listening and meaning quizzes; speaking practice is available for Spanish, French, German and Italian.
Homeschool planning
Premium Plus includes a Homeschool Planner with an editable weekly schedule, daily lesson packs, learning records, reports and printables. Parents can plan the week with Yuna and organise learning around their family’s routine.
Camera play & stories
Snap & Learn helps children discover everyday things, Word Snap collects new words, and Yuna’s Hunt turns noticing into a game. Snap a Story makes a favourite toy part of an illustrated storybook.
Storybooks & games
Families can explore illustrated storybooks, enjoy read-aloud narration and revisit favourite titles. There are also games such as Catch the Stars, Bubble Pop, Tap the Mole and Dodge the Rocks, alongside camera hunts and quizzes.
Eight 3D worlds to explore
Children can visit the Farm, Playground, School, Funfair, Forest, Beach, Space and Candy Land, with a central Town hub connecting their adventures. Portals transport them between worlds, where they can meet characters, explore and collect stars. Playful pets add companionship: children can pet and feed them and let them follow along as they explore.
Calm Corner
Gentle bedtime stories are read aloud in Calm Corner. Families can save stories and revisit favourites when it’s time to wind down.
CarPlay on the journey
CarPlay brings six activities into the car: Chat, Story time, Fun facts, Quiz me, Animal game and I Spy. Stories and playful questions can be enjoyed aloud along the way.
Parents & Family Circle
Parents can review conversations, set screen-time limits and manage the experience through a PIN-protected dashboard, with learning reports, safety alerts and an approved Family Circle for relatives. Parents and relatives can send praise and cheers to celebrate a child’s learning and creations. Approved relatives can also gift a storybook through Family Circle.
