For schools and nurseries

Something to send home that you can stand behind.

Yuna is a family app. Children use it at home with a parent in charge. You decide whether to tell your families about it.

What children practise

  • Maths
  • English
  • Science
  • Animals
  • World
  • Art
  • Feelings

Daily lessons and quizzes span seven core subjects. Learning paths draw on England’s National Curriculum, Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence and Curriculum for Wales.

US learning paths cover selected state frameworks: California’s Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, New York’s Next Generation English language arts and maths standards and P–12 science standards, Florida’s B.E.S.T. and CPALMS resources, and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

  • Word SnapA leaf in the garden becomes a new word to keep

  • Homeschool PlannerA weekly plan for families who teach at home (Premium Plus)

How it backs up what you set

  • Homework Helper

A child photographs a problem and Yuna coaches them through the steps. It does not hand over the answer.

  • Words and stories

Word Snap collects new words from everyday things. Snap a Story turns a favourite toy into an illustrated storybook.

  • Feelings and calm

Feelings is one of the seven subjects, and Calm Corner has gentle bedtime stories read aloud.

What parents see, and what you don’t

Tell your families

A short note for a newsletter or a letter home. Change it however you like.

Some families have asked us about apps their children can use at home. Yuna is an app where children chat, learn, make stories and explore with a friendly pixel buddy. Parents can read every chat, set screen-time limits and approve purchases with a PIN, and there are no adverts. It is free to download for iPhone, iPad, Android and Amazon Fire tablets at yunasworld.com/get. Using it is entirely your choice as a family.
